Rain stops play

Ok, so one day into my journey THIS happens:
Rain from 8 am and it's still pouring down. And the forecast? possibly two clear days this week if I'm lucky. It's frustrating having your bike sitting in the garage knowing you could be getting a step closer to your goal!

    Rainy days give you the opportunity to do other things, and plan- like what colour are you going to paint the spare room? What will you call your new cab? and to wonder -will I be one of those who refuses a fare to Brockley just cos they look drunk, gay and noisy?

    Ha ha I'm thinking something along the lines of Terry as it will be a Hackney carriage and my Dad was from Hackney.. It's funny a good percentage of my friends are drunk, gay and noisy so that shouldn't be a problem. And the spare room is cream!
