More runs and a trip down memory lane

Today saw me complete two more runs, taking me to 47. Three short of the magic 50! Whilst out and about, one of the runs finished on Brockley Road. I thought I'd take a picture for posterity as I'm sure Mark will remember:

Things are sloooooowly starting to make sense now as the runs start to overlap each other. I'm thinking by around 100 runs, things should start to get easier. Hopefully the weather holds as there is a small possibility of snow next week. It was definitely cold enough to snow today. I went out sans long Johns as I was fooled by the bright day. BIG mistake!!

Also found out on Friday that my compulsory self assessment is no longer compulsory! This means I only have to apply for my map test in about a year then I start my appearance in about 18 months. Confused? you will be! The Carriage Office certainly seem to make things as difficult as possible!

Todays song is in tribute to Billy Ocean who we bumped into down the flower market this morning. What a nice fella! Anyway I have now been singing this song all day. Enjoy!

  1. I'm really pleased things are falling into place for you. Thanks for the blast from the past- I can't believe it's nearly 7 years since we lived there. SO long that I can't even picture exactly where this sign is. Oh how I miss England- and the weather -NOT - bright sunshine here again and 18ÂșC in the garden as I write. Although turning colder for the weekend.

  2. That sign is right outside Crofton Park Station. The weather here has been pants all day. And looks like getting colder as the week goes on! : /
